Synopsis
|
It can be said as a movie about war in making or alternatively the consequences of the war
but it is not about actual war and with
“Never Ending Peace And Love” . It needs
to be understood that, “Our characters
are more sociological in nature and little less psychological!”
Fight Klub is not about
the country being at war but its shows enough prospects that there is a wind of
wave that aligns towards the possibility of a bigger conflict, may not be
particularly war. The family dynamics
and dynamics around the affluent neighbour, the deteriorating warmth in relationships
and fractures between societies, communities and ethnicities; the uneven
distribution of land, water and other natural resources were the sufficient
grounds that disposed this tiny nation , Nepal, for an expensive conflict,
particularly taking the lives of more than 15000 people in count. The current scenario of excess migration of
youth and workforce for abroad employment, in long turn if not addressed
through employment opportunities in owns country, for sure can dismantle the social
value, could be the cause for another conflict.
There are still enough jumbles of elements to instigate a new form of
conflict.
The
scenario of the post-10 year-conflict or scenario before the conflict is memory
wise decayed in the storyline! This fact
is emphasized by the Narrator Chunumunu Reku -5'g'd'g' /Ls'_ who is the hindsight
observer for every event & incident that have been mentioned. Reku narrates these stories during his research
residency in Paris entitled as "Conflict
in Contemporary Art".
The story is presented in
a non liner style with plots and characters of many unrelated stories meeting around
a square called Seto Ghoda Chowk (Seto Ghoda Square) which is in the vicinity of
the town Pokhara, Nepal.
Only this junction is a point
in that market, that bridges the lives of many characters, the characters that have
been living in different circumstances, technology and timeline within the same
vicinity and in the same point of time.
Characters meet here but may
or may not interact with each other. Here they experience their once in a life
event, attain a sense of self actualization and then again move in their own path.
There are basically four major plots with many new characters to emerge and meet
in between the storyline. Plot ranges from the issue of discrimination to personality
disorder to changes bought about by technology to problems in family life.
